Author: We have updated the Beaches Area Government Services pages. We now have a listing of the local Police Departments, Fire Stations, and post offices. We will be updating them as we get more information. Please feel free to post a comment on services that you know we need to add. You can also download a listing of each of these in our download files. We have also updated the beaches area Utilities pages with a listing of the local TV Stations as well as the Local Radio Stations. We have only included those stations that are in the greater Jacksonville area. We do have access to more than those on the list but their offices are located outside of the area.
Just a little note about the Jacksonville Beaches Area: Even though most of the areas we have included on this website is located within the Duval County Area with the exception of Ponte Vedra Beach which is located in St. Johns County. There are separate towns with their own government officials and rules. These are Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach and Atlantic Beach. Surprisingly, the area known as Mayport is actually part of Jacksonville proper.
